Malta has been recently been granted acceptance in the European Union. I believe that it is very important to know your roots. Your native language forms part of your roots. But learning how to speaking English is merely a way of communicating and the person who chooses to speak English rather than Maltese may have his reasons.
English and Maltese are the national languages in Malta. For this reason, it's cool to consider going to Malta to learn English. Everyone speaks English, whilst you can enjoy a holiday in the Mediterranean same time too!
